PotterPreAccording to a post on Harry Potter fan site The Leaky Cauldron, June 18 is the official grand opening date for the Wizarding World, but not the first time the park will open to the public; it states that guests who booked a package advertised for May 28 will likely be able to experience the new “theme park within a theme park” set at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

A press conference last September presented several features of the Wizarding World to the public for the first time, including its centerpiece, the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction, touted as something “never been done before”.
